On the East coast, two storms are preparing for one deadly collision. “ Hurricane and rainstorm are locked in a dangerous dance” was posted by KLTV on 10-1-15, bringing a serious problem to the surface. Hurricane Joaquin is headed toward the East coast straight for a flood causing rainstorm over the Carolinas. The smaller storm could either push the hurricane out or pull it in and drown the coast with water. Meteorologist are truly unsure of the storm paths and with the record breaking rain from storm No.1 this could be a catastrophic collision. Joaquin is a category 4 hurricane with winds over 130mph that are only strengthening by the minute. This situation is scary and poses many possible issues and weird phenomenons. The worst case scenario is beyond worrisome, and the best case scenario is very messy. This storm affects the entire country, and could put America in a natural disaster state and cripple hundreds of thousands of Americans. We should prepare for the worst case, but hope for the best case, by informing people about the situation and evacuating natives of the coast. What can we do about it? As blunt as it sounds, nothing. This storm collision will affect the world by economical, community, and personal stress. If the storm is pulled into America, many homes will be destroyed, many jobs will be gone, and the possibility of death becomes attendant. If the storm is pulled out to sea, however, the storm will grow, and head toward the bahamas, and other countries/territories, in double the magnitude. Ships at sea must be cautious and avoid the stormy waters, for the storm could sink a ship, and our rescue crews cannot enter Cat. 5 waters. This storm should put the world on edge, particularly America. The best thing we can do is stay alert, stay prepared, and stay informed.
